Booking requests can be made by email or telephone. If the apartment is available we will hold the reservation for you for up to 48 hours while travel arrangements are made. Please complete the booking form online, including flight details and the names of each of the guests, along with the ages of children under the age of 18. We will then confirm your booking by email.
Please check that the dates of arrival and departure are correct and contact us immediately if there are any errors. We regret we will not be liable for any inaccurate information if we have not been informed within the first week of receiving your booking details. The Costs of flights and transfers are not included in the price of Melissa Apartment.
A non-returnable deposit of £200 must be received within seven days of our confirmation email. This can be by bank transfer, Paypal or by cheque. If the deposit is not received within this time we cannot guarantee holding the apartment for you.
The balance is to be paid eight weeks prior to departure. Again, we can take a cheque, Paypal or bank transfer. If the balance is not received we reserve the right to offer the dates to other interested parties.
In the event of cancellation for any reason, we are unable to make any refunds. It is therefore advisable to obtain holiday insurance to cover any loss.
Should through circumstances beyond our control (earthquake, fire etc.) the apartment not be available to you, a full refund will be made.
A deposit of £200 will be required to cover any breakages or damage caused by you or your party whilst using the apartment. This will be returned to you within 7 days of you return.
Accidents do happen and if you break or damage something please notify our representative at Emir Apartments in order that a replacement or repair can be made prior to our next guests arriving.
Any damage to the apartment or its contents caused by you or any member of your party that exceeds the damages deposit must be paid to us directly. Failure to do so will result in legal action to recover the full payment plus legal costs.
Melissa Apartment inside is strictly non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted on the roof terrace. Confirmation from our representative that smoking has taken place in the apartment will result in the forfeiture of the full damages deposit.
One set of keys will be given to each party. Should the key be lost or not returned at time of departure, the cost of replacements will be charged against your deposit.
The apartment will be available from 3pm on the date of your arrival. A member of the Emir management team will show you to the apartment.
On the day of your departure, you will be required to have checked out of the apartment by 11.00 am unless a prior arrangement has been made. Luggage can be left in the reception area.
Occupation of the apartment must not exceed 6 (adults and children), and only to those indicated on your booking form. Forfeiture of the full damages deposit will result if it is reported to us by the Emir management that the apartment has been over-occupied or if any unnamed persons have stayed without our prior knowledge.
The pool area and use of sunbeds are reserved for guests of the Emir Apartments only.
Use of the swimming pool is entirely at your own risk. We will not accept responsibility for any injuries or damage to any guests using either of the swimming pools at the Emir.
We will not be responsible for the loss or damage to any personal belongings, including money. All cash and personal items are your sole responsibility.
You must accept responsibility for the behaviour and welfare of any children in your party. Although we do try to ensure the apartment is safe, children staying there do so at your own risk.
Fresh bed linen, towels and maid service cleaning will be provided twice a week. This includes emptying of bins. May we point out that that tissues, cotton wool and any sanitary items cannot be flushed down the toilets. All such and similar items must be placed in the bins provided.
Electricity is very expensive in Turkey and we would ask you to be considerate and please turn off the air conditioning when you are not in the apartment. The units work very efficiently and the room will cool down in minutes.
